No one knows how old Yoga is but most recognize the birth of modern yoga with Patinjali and his work, The Yoga Sutra of Patanjali . Since that time there have been as many different yoga styles as there have been yogis. At Warrior's Way, our yoga program uses many styles to create a blend of asanas that will challenge and improve any level yogi. Commonly referred to as power yoga, the focus in our yoga classes is a strong, supple body and a calm mind.
Assisted Stretch Yoga
In this class, Karen and Andy take you through a conventional yoga class but throughout the class your poses will be enhanced through physical assistance which allows your muscles to let go and your stretch to deepen |

PC Yoga
Parent Child Yoga (Pc yoga) is a just like our regular yoga class but parents have the option to bring their children so they can participate too. Children can come and do the same class as mom or dad on the next mat. At Warrior's Way we feel that kids should start a yoga practice early and doing class with a parent is great way for kids and parents to share the benefits of Yoga. Children need to be able to stay on his or her mat and listen to the instructor so as not to disrupt the rest of the class.
This class is open to everyone, even yoga students who don't have or don't wish to bring his or her child. |
